SHORT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Carrot is a domesticated type of the wild carrot, Daucus carota, which is actually native to Europe and southwest Asia. It is a biannual crop that generates a rosette of leaves with an umbel of white flower petals that produce the seeds. The name is actually derived from the Classical carotos, for ‘healing’. However, the edible orange root as we know it was developed due to the Dutch in the 1700s.

This oil is believed to reduce stress and anxiety. When added to a carrier oil or body cream, carrot seed oil improves skin overall health and glow of the skin and reduces wrinkles – these are due to it’s antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.
